P.S. For perfect handprint or footprint, please make sure baby is fed, changed and calm or in deep sleep.
- Knead the impression clay with your hands for about 5 minutes until all gas comes out, it should feel soft, slightly sticky and smooth.
- Roll the impression clay into a round shape and smooth the surface.
- Press the impression round clay with your hands until its shape nears the tin box size. You can also use a rolling pin (not included in the kit).
- Put the impression clay into the box and press with your hands softly. It should look flat and smooth.
- Put your baby hand or foot in the middle of the box and give a little hard press. To make the hand or foot print clearly visible, please keep the baby’s hand or foot pressed against the impression clay for around five seconds. Please note that if you are not satisfied with the baby’ hand or foot print you took, you can repeat the above process immediately within 10 minutes.
- On getting the desired baby’s hand or foot print, put the decorative accessories (Included in the kit) immediately.
- Please put it on a flat clean cool and dry surface to dry for around 20-30 days without covering. It should be completely open so that it gets dried by air perfectly.
- Finally, add the gold color on the baby’s hand or foot print (optional) and store it in the tin box and showcase it with the transparent lid to protect your keepsake for generations to come.
